Milton Keynes demolished a dispirited Lee Valley team to continue their push for promotion back to the top league. Lee Valley arrived with a short and relatively inexperienced bench against a MK unit brimming with skill and speed. Despite the paucity of opposition, MK kept their discipline throughout the match, and almost every goal came from fast passing moves.
Goals came at regular intervals and were shared equally between the lines and players. With 83 shots on goal and only 11 attempts against them, this was never a close affair, but teamwork and hard work against sides like this will put MK in good stead for future tougher battles against possible league contenders Oxford and Haringey.
If Milton Keynes continue to improve at the rate they have this past few months, they must surely get the promotion they want.
