Storm Under 14b's (Division 2)
2ndt December MK Storm 1 Cardiff 16
Being badly beaten the previous weekend the guys were probably nervous going into this one. However for the first 20 minutes or so they held up extremely well. At the end of the 1st the team were down 3-1 with Storm’s goal being scored unassisted by George at 12:46.
The 2nd and 3rd periods saw
Cardiff establish superiority, and to me it looked like our lads were tiring. The 2nd ended 1-9, with the 3rd closing at 1-16, even though Storm carried on putting all into it.
The team now has a few weeks before the next game at the ever so lovely Solent +
Gosport rink in January, but if they put in as much effort again then we could end up with a late Xmas present!
