Result:  11 November,  MK Storm 4   Bristol 4

Following a heavy defeat in Bristol in the opening match of the season, Storm could have been forgiven if they approached this game with a little apprehension. However, in what turned out to be an exciting game, the guys gave a very encouraging display and got a well-deserved draw.

First period was played with a running clock, as the Bristol team got lost in MK (ironic for those of us who have been to their rink) and were very late on the ice. The game was tight, with Bristol opening the scoring but Storm quickly replied through Owen, assisted by Henry, with the period ending 1-1.

During the 2^nd and 3^rd the teams exchanged goals, with Storm scoring through George, assisted by Jack, Connor again assisted by Jack and Dan unassisted, with 2 replies from Bristol, leaving the game 4-3 to Storm, with 3 minutes to play. Jake had stood up well in goal, making excellent saves throughout, but was beaten in the last minutes of the game by a great shot from Bristol, unfortunately denying Storm their first win of the season.
