The Adult Learn to Play Ice Hockey programme is for over 16’s who want to try Ice Hockey in a fun and safe environment. The half hour group lessons cater for beginners and the more advanced (Skaters must be able to move on the ice unaided.) Skaters progress at their own pace and work towards EIHA grade 6, which is the minimum standard required for joining a Rec Club.
The course is organised by Milton Keynes Storm Junior Ice Hockey Club under the direction of Nick Poole, Director of Junior Development and Andrew Linton, the assistant Head Coach. The next course starts on Wednesday 1st September and runs for 6 weeks.
The cost is £15.00 per week but if you pay for the course in full this is reduced to £12.50 per week, £75.00 for the 6 week course.
Payment to be made by cheque or cash (cheques made payable to MKJIHC).
Skates can be hired from Planet Ice and the club will provide helmets and sticks if available. Our Second Hand shop has a stock of used Hockey Equipment, available at reasonable prices. (Open from 6.30pm on most Wednesday’s.)
